The SDI encoder‑control board is developed by Kaimorui exclusively for SONY FCB high‑definition integrated camera blocks. It is compatible with and controls SONY camera modules including FCB‑CV7310, FCB‑CV7520, FCB‑CX480CP, FCB‑CX490EP, FCB‑EV7500, FCB‑EX48EP, FCB‑EX480CP, FCB‑EX1010P and FCB‑EX2700P. Its functional features are listed as below:

1. It connects to SONY FCB high‑definition integrated camera blocks via LVDS cables. No pre‑configuration on the camera block is required; it automatically recognizes and outputs high‑definition SDI signals.
2. The OSD menu can be activated via onboard push‑buttons, RS‑485 control keyboard or decoder board, enabling convenient configuration and saving of all technical parameters for the camera block.
3. This control board supports simultaneous output of HD‑SDI and YPbPr (component) signals. Standard‑definition CVBS signal can also be output independently, facilitating camera positioning adjustment and parameter tuning with engineering testers on‑site.
4. It supports external IR illuminator connection and provides an external IR‑synchronization interface. Parameters can be configured on the camera block to prevent mismatched day‑night switching with IR lights.
5. RS‑485 control is supported with auto‑recognition of PELCO‑D and PELCO‑P protocols. Available baud rates: 2400 bps, 4800 bps, 9600 bps; address range: 1‑255.
6. Power‑off memory function is available. Once camera parameters are saved, settings are retained after power loss without re‑configuration.
7. RS‑232 control is supported (optional) for easy communication with PCs or MCUs.
8. Dedicated video format configuration allows switching to 720P50, 1080I50 or CVBS even without live image preview. Video formats can also be remotely modified through an RS‑485 control keyboard.
