I. CM8210 Mini Zoom Movement: The Core for High-Definition Imaging in Drones

The CM8210 Mini Zoom Movement features compact size, lightweight design, high zoom capability, and superior night vision performance, making it perfectly suited for the confined space and weight constraints of drone pods. Measuring only 43.6×45.5×67 mm and weighing approximately 150 g, its low power consumption ensures optimal flight endurance while offering easy integrated installation.

Equipped with a 1/3-inch line-by-line scanning CMOS sensor offering 2.3 million high-definition pixels and 1000 TVL resolution, it delivers 10x optical and 12x digital zoom across a focal length range of 4.747 mm, achieving a total magnification of 120x. The camera features a freely adjustable field of view of 60.9°–6.4°, balancing comprehensive wide-angle coverage with detailed long-distance photography. It enables low-light imaging at 0.2 Lux during daylight conditions and as low as 0.005 Lux with DSS activation, while the ICR auto-switching mode ensures all-weather performance.

Equipped with advanced algorithms including built-in electronic image stabilization, 3D noise reduction, fog detection, wide dynamic range, and strong light suppression, the system effectively handles complex operating conditions such as high-altitude shaking, backlighting, and haze. It supports multi-signal outputs (LVDS/SDI/AHD) and is compatible with VISCA and PELCO-D protocols. Operating across a wide temperature range of-20°C to 60°C and supporting DC power supplies from 7V to 15V, it is fully optimized for harsh outdoor airborne environments in drones.

II. CM2001S Encoding Control Board: Establishing the Intelligent Control Hub for the Pod

The CM2001S encoding control board features a 6-layer military-grade gold-plated PCB and an imported original ARM chip, offering vibration and interference resistance while eliminating signal attenuation caused by poor solder joints. It is designed to withstand high-altitude turbulence and complex electromagnetic environments in drones. With dimensions of 50×50 mm and a standard positioning hole design, it facilitates rapid installation and integration into compact pod structures.

The device supports direct LVDS connectivity with CM8210 and all Sony FCB watch movements, enabling automatic image recognition without debugging. It features dual RS485 and RS232-TTL interfaces, multiple IO ports, and button controls, with power-off memory retention and command transparency capabilities. Compatible with mainstream VISCA and PELCOP/D protocols, it offers adjustable baud rates for seamless integration with various flight control systems. Fully compatible with 720P,1080I, and 1080P full HD video formats, along with lossless SDI low-latency output, it ensures real-time aerial video transmission. Custom OEM/ODM services are also available.

III. Integrated Hardware-Software Synergy for Precise Matching of UAV Pod Airborne Characteristics

The CM8210 imaging module is natively compatible with the CM2001S control board, seamlessly integrating the entire workflow from image acquisition to signal encoding, protocol control, and real-time transmission. Eliminating the need for additional adapter modules ensures high integration and simplified wiring, significantly reducing the complexity of pod structure and circuit design. Both components feature industrial-grade wide-temperature tolerance, low power consumption, and vibration resistance, addressing critical challenges in drone endurance, field operations, and compact mounting requirementsmaking them rapidly adaptable to both multi-rotor and fixed-wing drones.

IV. Full-scenario Adaptation and Implementation: Expanding the Application Scope of Low-altitude Pod Technology

The comprehensive solution finds extensive applications in drone pod scenarios across power line inspection, forest fire prevention, public security, emergency search and rescue, river surveying, and mobile law enforcement. Its ultra-long zoom enables precise hazard detection, while low-light night vision supports nighttime operations, with stable control ensuring smooth gimbal tracking and image transmission. The Kaimorui integrated visual hardware solution, characterized by high reliability, high integration, and easy adaptability, provides standardized configurations and customized services for drone manufacturers and integrators, facilitating the intelligent transformation of the low-altitude aviation industry.
