Kaimorui KC9232M + CM2001S: Smart Eyes for Robot Dogs, Clear Vision & Stable Movement

A quadruped robot dog strides over gravel, wades through pooled water, and creeps into unlit power distribution rooms. Its "brain" maps out paths while its "limbs" adjust gaits. Yet what truly lets it perceive the world is the pair of "eyes" mounted on its head — the CMR KC9232M integrated camera module paired with the CM2001S encoder control board.
High-frequency vibration from quadruped locomotion, volatile lighting in field environments, and remote factory sites without Wi-Fi are harsh conditions that defeat conventional cameras. This is exactly where CMR’s vision combo excels. It transforms the robot dog from a mere "walking metal lump" into an intelligent inspection partner capable of patrolling, identification, and on-site monitoring.

1. Stable Vision Despite Bumpy Movement
Every footfall of the robot dog poses a challenge to the lens. High-frequency shaking produces distorted, blurry footage with ordinary cameras. Built-in gyro stabilization is native to the KC9232M, which locks onto targets and delivers steady images even during high-speed movement.
This allows the robot dog to leap over steps while clearly reading serial numbers on distant signs and warning lights on factory doorframes. Every patrol step is built on reliable visual perception.
2. 32x Optical Zoom: Instant Target Lock
As an intelligent module with 32x optical zoom, the KC9232M packs a focal range from 5.9mm to 188.8mm into a fist-sized unit. Stationed at one corner of the factory, the robot dog can zoom in to inspect human faces, license plates, and trespassing figures dozens of meters away frame by frame.
Powered by deep learning for road monitoring, it supports smart detection functions including perimeter intrusion, line crossing and loitering. Instead of simply recording video, it performs judgment: identifying suspicious figures and breached boundaries. Patrol capability is upgraded from "seeing" to "understanding".

3. Reliable Night Vision for Unmanned Sites
Featuring ultra-low illumination of 0.05Lux, 120dB wide dynamic range and auto-switchable ICR infrared cut filter, the KC9232M restores fine details under moonlight, backlight, and in alleyways with alternating bright and shadowed areas.
When the robot dog guards factory premises at night, its "eyes" never rest. Even figures hiding in shadows are captured by the progressive-scan CMOS. Darkness is no longer a blind zone. With static power consumption as low as 5W, it preserves battery life for field deployment.
4. Military-grade Core: Robust Performance Beyond Visual Capture
The CM2001S encoder control board enables seamless integration of this vision system onto the robot dog. Adopting military-grade 6-layer PCB and gold-plating technology, it withstands vibration and humidity in field operations.
Plug-and-play LVDS with auto-recognition enables seamless connection between the camera module and control board. Multi-protocol support for VISCA and PELCO, plus flexible interfaces including RS485, RS232 and IO ports, allow synchronized control of robot gait, pan-tilt and lens.
Power-off memory resumes the previous state after reboot, and H.265 low-bitrate compression ensures clear video transmission even under limited bandwidth. It delivers sharp imaging, reliable data transmission, precise control and long-term durability. CMR provides the vision system that empowers robot dogs to run freely and make intelligent decisions.
